Colonel Ernest L. Morton, Jr. Endowed Scholarship

 

Scholarship applications are now open

This scholarship shall provide support to one student who is a U.S. military veteran enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the Tempe campus. One scholarship of approximately $1000 will be awarded for the Fall 2018 semester. The Donor has a preference for providing scholarship support to members of the Army Veterans.

The scholarship deadline is Friday, February 2, 2018.

Students must complete and submit an application through ASU’s Scholarship Portal.

General criteria for the Brian S. Page Endowed Scholarship

Recipients must:

  • Be enrolled full time (at least 12 hours) when receiving the scholarship.
  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. (Online not eligible)
  • Have demonstrated financial need (by FAFSA).
  • Must be U.S. Military Veteran.

Eligibility – Students who are currently enrolled at ASU, transfer students from a college, university or community college and incoming students from high school are eligible to apply for this scholarship. 

Preference – Preference to students who are Army Veterans.

About Robert and Michele Page

Rob and Michele Page have established this scholarship to honor family members and support ASU students who have or will have served in the US Military. They are passionate about education and supporting students through scholarships, especially first generation students. Rob served ASU in many capacities, including Founding Director of the School of Life Sciences, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and University Provost. The Colonel Ernest L. Morton, Jr. Endowed Scholarship is named in honor of Michele’s father, who was a career officer with the Army.
