How many credits are required?
At least 6 credit hours (2 courses), including at least 3 credit hours at the upper division (300-499) level. You must receive a grade of C or better in both courses.
Can these classes also fulfill other requirements?
Yes, one Science & Society course may be used to fulfill one requirement in the major or minor as well as a Science and Society requirement. That course may also be used to satisfy the "Literacy & Critical Inquiry" ("L") general studies requirement and no more than two Awareness Areas ("C," "G," "H").
The second Science & Society course can only be used to satisfy the Literacy requirement and no more than two Awareness Areas. The only general studies requirements Science & Society courses can satisfy are Literacy or the Awareness Areas.
