Community Service and Internships

There are many ways to add practical, hands-on experience to what you're learning in your courses and in your major. Volunteering in the community, interning for credit, or signing up for a service learning class (where the experiential component is incorporated into the course itself) are all ways to apply the knowledge you're learning to address real world problems.

Information about internships can be found on the Career Services website. Information about earning credit for internships in CLAS can be found here.

Volunteer@ASU provides many opportunities for undergraduates to participate in community service projects.

ASU Community Connect maintains a lot of information about both service opportunities and ASU's connections with the community.

Through University Service Learning, you can earn three upper-division credits while providing a valuable community service.

There are a wide range of entrepreneurship opportunities available at ASU.
