The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is looking for outstanding majors in our college to be LIA 101 Facilitators and Mentors. These individuals will teach or assist teaching a LIA 101, a student success seminar, under the supervision of the assistant director of first-year programs. Facilitators and Mentors will serve as role models to their first-semester students as they adjust to life at Arizona State University, while gaining valuable public speaking, communication and leadership skills that look great on a resume or graduate school application! Facilitators will receive elective credit for LIA 394 and Mentors will receive credit for LIA 294.
LIA 101 is a student success course for all College of Liberal Arts and Sciences freshmen. You will have a unique opportunity to help and guide our college's freshman by sharing your ASU experiences with them.
