Program Description

Through this program grounded in intersectional feminism, students will gain valuable insight into how the systems of inequality intermingle with race, gender, sexuality, immigration, class, globalization and other frameworks. Undergraduates gain necessary expertise in applying this knowledge to today's society.

Students are offered the opportunity to challenge conventional wisdom about gender and explore new ways of viewing the world through the study of:

Global Opportunities

Global Experience

Study abroad allows students to immerse themselves in a different culture. Through study and internships, they discover how other cultures view women and gender, and they learn to analyze issues related to gender.

The Global Education office offers programs in more than 65 countries across the globe. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences recommends specific study abroad programs for students majoring in women and gender studies.
