Through coursework and scholarly research students in the BA degree program in women and gender studies gain critical knowledge and a deep understanding of feminist theory and practice. Students are offered the opportunity to challenge conventional wisdom about gender and explore new ways of viewing the world through the study of:

ASU has many financial aid options. Almost everyone, regardless of income, can qualify for some form of financial aid. In fact, more than 70 percent of all ASU students receive some form of financial assistance every year.
The women and gender studies degree program prepares students for many different career opportunities upon graduation. Graduates of the program are also well prepared for graduate and law school and have been admitted to prestigious programs.
