The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the university offer a variety of grants and scholarships to help you pay for college and/or to enhance your undergraduate experience. Unlike loans, grants and scholarships do not have to be repaid. They may be awarded based on merit, financial need and/or specific academic criteria.

Some scholarships and awards are open to students from any major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Those include First Generation Scholarships. The 2008-09 application is available here. Applications are due Wednesday June 18 2008.

There are numerous scholarships available to students who are interested in doing research with ASU faculty. Click here to learn more about Undergraduate Research Scholarships. The application for Spring 2009 Sun Angel Excellence in Humanities Research Scholarships and Spring 2009 Women and Philanthropy Access to the Sciences Research Scholarships will be available in August 2008. The application for Fall 2008 Undergraduate Research Scholarships will be available in February 2009.
