For Pre-law Students
Arizona State University does not have a pre-law program of study. The American Bar Association is not concerned with a student's particular major. You are encouraged to select a major in an area that interests you and in which you excel academically. However, if you are interested in attending law school after graduation, you may want to meet with a pre-law advisor to discuss the LSAT, selection of law schools, financing of law school or other topics. Pre-law advising is available in a number of offices at ASU. To determine the best place for you to seek assistance, check out Arizona State University's Pre-Law Web site advisor directory.
Procedure
- Begin by learning more about law school, law school admissions and pre-law at Arizona State University's Pre-Law Web site.
- If you are a junior or senior, are beginning the application process to law school, and have a major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, you are eligible to meet with the college's pre-law advisor, Sara Lyness.
- If you are a "pre-law, no preference" student, your academic advisor is Sara Lyness. You can make an appointment to meet with her by calling (480) 965-6506.
