College Ambassadors of Liberal Arts and Sciences
Welcome to the homepage of the College Ambassadors of Liberal Arts and Sciences!
The College Ambassadors are a student based advisory committee to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences administration. Our mission is to give a student perspective in improving the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – in order to do so we, the College Ambassadors, give feedback to the Dean's Office. On top of that, we take a hands on approach to make a better college; developing valuable projects to the college is part of our job. We are constantly striving for improvement throughout the college, and involve ourselves in many of the college's activities and events.
We are currently working on peer mentoring projects throughout the college, as well as developing our second annual Ambassador lecture featuring Dr. Peter Singer, a student manual for incoming freshmen, undergraduate alumni events, and t-shirts for incoming freshmen. Finally, we are assisting in the development of an eating facility that will provide a casual environment, facilitating academic discussion and social interaction among students, faculty, and administration members.
The College Ambassadors are now accepting applications from current College of Liberal Arts and Sciences students and nominations from all faculty and staff for our fall recruitment session. Please email Cledwyn Jones, the College Ambassador's advisor, at cledwyn@asu.edu for more information.
